A day after formally launching the Conservatives local election campaign, Kemi came to mid Sussex to speak with business leaders in East Grinstead and found time to pop in to some of the high street outlets.
Among the stops was Kitchens Bespoke where co-founders Guy and Rachael Workman talked about business challenges.
At Greenaway Residential Estate Agents & Letting Agents Kemi met MD Darren Greenaway who spoke about challenges facing estate agents and the housing market.
At the Railway pub, Mrs Badenoch had discussions with various business owners before facing invited media.
Accompanying the Conservative leader was local MP Mims Davies, Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne, Leader of West Sussex County Council, Cllr Paul Marshall along with elected councillors from the local area.
