A campaign by Copthorne and Worth district councillor, Graham Casella, to return the village’s immigrant hotel to its original tourist usage has been given a boost by our local MP.
Mims Davies MP has launched a parliamentary petition calling for the hotel to be put back as a facility for airport travellers, bringing local economic benefit, creating jobs and providing useful facilities for nearby residents.
The petition, both online and on paper, backs a motion proposed by Cllr Casella at Mid Sussex District Council’s full Council meeting a few months ago. The hard copy will be presented to the House of Commons by the MP who will link the online signatures to those on paper in a speech during the Parliamentary ceremony.
