Our hard-working MP, Mims Davies, was thrilled to join the brilliant South Brockwells Farm, especially after the first of Labour Budget of Broken Promises and damager caused to family farms.
Established in 1976, South Brockwells Farm is an award winning family run, working farm is nestled in over 300 acres of our stunning East Sussex countryside at Little Horsted.
Their seasonal farm shop is at the very heart of their farm business and they are passionate about providing their customers with the highest quality seasonal produce which is home reared and sourced locally.
In October 2022, they won the prestigious British Farming Awards - Diversification of the year award and in September 2022, they won both the Best Rural Business and overall Business of the Year at the Uckfield Business Awards - a wonderful achievement.
Then in 2023 the awards continued! Being awarded the coveted Countryside Alliance Clarissa Dickson Wright Award at The House of Lords. One of the most esteemed honours presented by the Countryside Alliance, recognising individuals and businesses that embody the spirit of rural communities and contribute to their prosperity.

I was thrilled to join the fabulous (and multi award winning!) South Brockwells Farm in Little Horsted today.
It was important to speak to this hard-working, family run farm and hear about their great work with children and young people, visit the amazing farm shop, hear about their ethos on what they stock, and listen to their issues around planning and environmental health.
I know from speaking to many local farmers in my constituency of East Grinstead, Uckfield and the villages, just how damaging Labour's Budget of Broken Promises has been for them. I have also been receiving countless emails, not just from very rightly concerned farmers, but also residents who are taking the time to raise their concerns with me.
