The Association were very sad to hear that long-time supporter Michael Clifton of Maresfield has passed away. He was extremely popular and will be greatly missed.
Michael was very active in the local community, not just with the Conservatives but also the Parish Council, Village Meadows Trust, and Maresfield Conservation Group.
"I was shocked to hear that Michael Clifton had died on Wednesday last week", said Association Chairman Helen Galley. "Michael was a great supporter of the Party, working hard for it, delivering leaflets and also a member of the Executive Council. We shall miss him very much. Our condolences to his friends and family."
Michael leaves his widow, Beryl, and a son, Michael James. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
