Cllr Jacquie Russell lives in East Grinstead and is the county councillor for East Grinstead South & Ashurst Wood division, re-elected to WSCC on 7th May 2026.

"It has been a huge privilege to have been elected twice since 2017 as the county councillor for East Grinstead South and Ashurst Wood.  From day one, I pledged to work tirelessly both for and with residents to get things done for the benefit of us all here in East Grinstead.

"Alongside being your local county councillor, I am also a District Councillor and was recently instrumental in revoking the evening parking charges in our car parks, helping to support the nighttime economy and those residents on County on-street parking permits who found themselves displaced.

"Fighting for our town is what I do best. I care about our road safety, schools, young people, elderly residents and much more.
