Robin is a qualified accountant with extensive experience in both the private and public sector. He has lived in Buxted for almost 60 years and joined the then East Grinstead Young Conservatives in 1969 rising to Constituency YC Chairman.
He joined the former Wealden Association officer team in 2002 and managed their finances until the boundary changes in September 2023. He then joined the East Grinstead and Uckfield officer team as treasurer.
He says ‘The Electoral Commission requires association accounts to be prepared to the same standards as that that applies under the Companies Act’
